hi all .does any  one know if the magga dan had a byplane  onboard  ..ive googled it ans in some pics it has one in others  it hasnt  and does it have any other vecheals on board it was a supply  ship to ( i think)  antartic..many thanks pad..any one know were ic ould get a byplane  if it did lol thanks again :-)

I checked on the interweb and found a few articles about the Magga Dan and it seems she carried a De Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver high wing plane which could also be used as a float plane.
If you blow Martins picture up you can just see the floats.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Magga Dan become HMS Endurance? The one before Polar Circle.

  This was fitted long after the Smeeds plans as the awning framework wouldn't have been strong enough to support a chopper.

Reference my earlier post it wasn't the Magga Dan that became HMS Endurance but the Anita Dan.
