Here is my HMS X7 using an original Darnell Hull, no its not the most accurate Xcraft you will ever see, but its a nice little model, that fits in the the boot of the car if i dont fancy taking a bigger model to the pond, or i have have got the children in the car and we go to the pond.

I had thought of selling it , but to be honest i think i would miss it, as i like many did the research on HMS X7 (Commanded by Lt B.C "Godfrey" Place) on the Tirpitz attack.

  Hey Mike

With your Darnell X craft and others, will you make the corrections to the rudder and planes? We talked a long ago reg. that. What has come of that?

If possible would like to get an updated set for my Darnell from you.

 Thanks Mike

Have you considered having a go at it yourself? Get a sheet of polycarbonate or G10 epoxyglass sheet, make the planes up in a sandwich of three bonded layers, with the control rods sandwiched in the middle, then drill the vent holes, and fashion to shape with files and sandpaper. An easy afternoons work, and the finished result will be as strong, if not stronger than resin cast versions.

I found one 'chicken leg' mold part, so All I need to do is cast up the other and we're off!
