I'm sorry to say that I will not be able to come along this year. The date clashes with the family calender.

You all have a great time and don't forget the pictures please. Who's up for the 'Best sinking' award this time.   :-))

All the best

Stav
Weather forecast for Friday is typical Mayhem weekend - high winds and heavy rain. Saturday looks much, much better; no rain and 11mph winds. I may even drag my 'orrible carcase down there if Saturday morning shows fair.

Quite tropical then, we`ve got slightly less than that.  Pic from BBC 1 o`clock Local News today.   Cockbridge to Tomintoul road snow-gates  closed, raining/sleeting at the moment at lower levels. Cold northerly wind.  Hope it isn't coming your way guys.

Everything's ready at Wicksteed.

Special thanks to the Wicksteed MBC for tiding up and clearing the lake... twice!

There's nothing on TV this weekend so charge your batteries up and come and sail your boat.
Come and see me crash someone else's boat.
See the flying gazebo display.

£6 per car to get into Wicksteed bot the Mayhem part is  FREE , as always.
... I'll be the bloke in the very sedate shirt!

This must be a new definition of "sedate" that I have not previously come across?

no rain last year just some VERY heavy vertical mist, ?
problem last year was no body told them to STOP filling the lake, and I know it was a walk from my stand to the lake, and  it was nice of them to bring the lake to me at 3 in the morning ? , but I will walk to the lake this year please. need the exercise.

Looking forward to the weekend,  you can go a whole year without meeting a good quality barm pot, ? and them at Mayhem ? what super quality

Loving the glorious sunshine. Been helping by staying in the caravan with the aircon on full. Simply can't stand the heat. Don't forget your suntan lotion kids.
Although I do believe there may have been a tiny rain squall on the lake. Allegedly.
