Not that i promote piracy of any sort...
however maybe some of you have heard of jailbreaking (for iphone and ipad). This allows you to install hacked apps and therefore are downloaded in a separate store and are all free etc...
The real use of the jailbreak is the mods and tweaks that can be made to the device to improve user experience and makes you into a true nerd. If apple were to actually get off their high horse and allow their devices to be used how users want to use them, i would think they would make even more money...
I have owned an iphone and currently own a samsung galaxy s2 and i can say the difference is very black and white. The screen on the iphone is so much better, its smoother and i find the apps better in general.
same for the ipads and android tablets, apple beat them hands down.
The issue with the S2 is the screen seems very jumpy and less accurate than the iphone and so the apps suffer in my opinion. One clear difference app wise on both devices is the BBC news app. On the iphone/ipad, its so smooth when scrolling from story to story, where as the S2 is jumpy and not precise at all.
The main useful apps i use are
Fight radar pro
Marine traffic pro
BBC news
BBC iplayer
I also have a game called bubble mania on the ipad/iphone and bubble shoot on the S2 - both very addictive.
If your interested in free apps for the android devices, you need an app called blackmart alpha.. this is available on the internet.
remember, I or this site don't promote jail breaking, it will void your warranty (not that its usually worth anything anyway), however your devices will be free of the restrictions and costs that apple like to impose.
