Surf Lifeboat
« on: September 18, 2012, 01:21:33 am »

Hi can anybody on here help me out. I am looking for photos of the inside of the Surf Lifeboat  Thomas Kirk Wright  thats in the Poole lifeboat museum. At the present due to health problems I can not get down to Poole so if anybody has any photos or knows some one that has or could go and take some photos that would be much appreciated.

Thanks John

It's always very nice when someone responds with help, like yours Mick.....well done.

It helps us all in the long run, and helps us all advance our own and others modelling technique and I always appreciate it.

all the best and keep up the good work,....and thanks for all your photos of RNLB B A S P.......really much appreciated.

There are 10 images of Thomas Kirk Wright (inside & out) on Flickr taken in 2006 by Stoneroad2011 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/60884630@N06/sets/72157630533746386/

Although downloading appears to be disabled, I wonder if it would allow a screen capture...

Yup! Looks like it does  :-))

Thanks for the replies have checked the 10 pictures on Flicker cant download but can print out the pictures. Have sent Rottweiler a email. I am hoping to build a model of the Rosabella that was stationed at Ilfracombe have got some plans from the NMM but they do not show everything so this is why I am after any photos etc of any of the Surf class Lifeboats so I can compare them and maybe get a better detail of the seat, tanks etc.

Thanks John
