I like one-part PU glues like Balcotan and Gorilla glue. I used Balcotan for a 14' sharpie with no nails or screws left in, and use Gorilla glue, as it comes in very small containers, for model work. It's not worth buying anything bigger than the 60ml size because once opened the shelf life is not all that long. However, the top of the bottle always seems to seize up, requiring energetic work with a pin or scalpel to get to the glue just when you've got all the bits precariously balanced prior to gluing/assembly/clamping.
Toby's Tip: put the cap back on the bottle but store it upside down in a small jar or whatever. Then the bit by the nozzle will stay liquid ready for use.
Apologies to all those who know that already, but it might help someone.
