The first three are records my dad played over and over on the 'radiogram' after my Mum left.

On a happier note as a Kid I loved these before I met the progresive stuff

Dear Dave,

Whilst I had bought many singles and gnrl. Albums, this I believe, still remains one of the best... format, composition, and execution... let alone Richard Burton.

... and this, weeel, if you were in that era you will know what I mean! They think they have good music these day, but isn't it surprising how much much 'old' stuff is played these days on the Radio! {-) Regards, Bernard

Right, been trying to work something out and have done it, and this has been a pleasant diversion this eve., but not to bed!

... oh, and just before going, how do I remember this as well - and I also refer to all those other late 1970's tracks - which, whilst I was hammering out 40k scores on the Space Invaders (& another one which I can't remember off hand! - too long ago!!!!!!!), and winning bets of all sorts, and beating absolutely any and all comers on same (one of the best lady catchers I have ever ever had!!! - sad isn't it!!! {-)), wow, what times.... never been matched, and won't be again! ;) B.

Ever so slightly off topic for a moment ......... this site has lots of old festivals on it. If you attended any then you might find who was on the bill and some memories of those hazy events. http://www.ukrockfestivals.com/
I just found my 1974 Buxton festival ...... http://www.ukrockfestivals.com/buxton-74.html
Boy was I bombed out, hitchiking home I fell asleep in some guys clapped out Bedford van and on the radio West Germany beat Netherlands 2-1 in the World Cup final.

After all the very good Music that everybody has put up on here, it just makes you wonder the value of what rubbish is here with us now? And, maybe, how much the present younger generation is missing out? .... maybe this is why we hear rather a lot of the real music on the radio these days....?! There is rarely anything worth bothering with... the beat is lost? Just verbal d. ear. B.

Brilliant site, I was a regular at Stonehenge from about 1975 to 1981 and was at Watchfield in 75 untill the bikers wrecked it after a couple of days. Rhayader  and Combe Martin were also really good, oh to be young again. Here's a band from those times, Hawkwind....

Nothing worse than someone pulling up beside you at traffic lights With that awfull 'music' that sounds like someone is building a shed. So to soothe the nerves,
