Well, its time for me to retire for the night. I shall leave you with this, some old chums of mine from the 80's, not seen any of them since those days. This is Herbie Pops Out at the Blazing Stump on Wallasey Dock Road in 1984...

I loved most music from the 60's & 70's but now I collect all the easy listening I can, Roger Whittaker, Phil Coulter,Ray Conniff, Mantovani, a little of Gaelic music which seems never to wear out & of course Floyd Cramer, am I dating myself, god I feel old. I must say though checking some of the videos on here has been a surprise & enjoyable as well. Mick B.

Just one observation.  It might be nice, as there are sooo many posting,  to actually name the song being shown.  That way, we can dip in to our favourites any time.

Hi Guys - any chance we could do as Ken has asked please - it would be great to just scroll through and pick out little gems ...... Link, Artist, Title ...... :-))

Dear Dave,

Quite right :-))

Yes, within a few recent Posts I have not, but I have gone to pains otherwise to do so. Re Nick's replies I haven't since there directly obvious, but not necessarily to others O0 :-)

Ok, Battleships etc. was not very clear, but unfortunately I do not know the titles to the first Track, and I would be very grateful if someone could advise please :-)) As I said, the second part I do know, but I am at a loss re the first bit, and I would very much like to know what it is.

So, Dave, and going the long way around the Barn, indeedy so, and quite right that you remind :-)) This Topic can easily go just as quickly as it started... it is run by a Moderator so.......... just because I started it means absolutely nothing {-)

Well this one is not a huge smash hit from the 70s but it is still remembered and loved my many ex pussers and sums up many things in one song.  And the video is great too.  Will bring back memories to many and any members of the forum who were in the mob in the 70s and 80s.

I give you the one and only Shep Wolley - ex HMS Blake, Excellent and other fine ships and establishments, runner up in New Faces and still treading the boards,

Roll on my time.
