ANOTHER STOLEN MODEL
« on: October 07, 2012, 07:30:48 pm »

HI ALL,,, as you know I'm restoring the model of MAURETANIA for trust inns,  they also have the TUBINIA  public house in newcastle, they have just informed me of the glass showcase model of turbinia has been stolen,    so if a model of the turbinia is seen in junk, antique shops or offered for sale, or offered to forum members,  please beware,  this may be the stolen model,   im trying to find out if theres any pics of the model so i can post on the forum   regards brian_c

Hopefully its the actions of a few drunks. Who will dump it when sober. Could you give the approx size of the boat please? I must admit its unlikely to turn up down my way.But who knows. John.
