Barrow in Furness Sub Day, Sunday 9th Sept
« on: September 06, 2012, 09:23:58 am »

Hi All,

One of the last submarine events of summer and it looks as if we may have some good weather!
Everyone with a submarine is invited, courtesy of Furness Model Boat Club.  Competitions (if you want) and prizes! Turn up at the park at about 11am or before. Please bring a contribution for  the buffet lunch. PM me for details.

See you there!

The Sub Day generated some nice coverage in the Local Paper.

See :

(You will need to look quite hard for the article "Furness Model Boat Club Model Submarine Regatta..........!)

My thanks to Dave J for the link.

Again thanks to everyone for contributing to this event.

Good photographs, unfortunately the Russian victor class should be the Alfa class.

Clearly our "unknown" photographer did not know his Victor from his Alpha!

Welcome Dave!
