Lurking is a nice word especialy after nearly sinking her thought at first I had a split rubber boot on one of the control rods turned out to be a leak in the prop shaft coupling all i have to do now is work out how to strip it and service the said shaft seal will maybe get in touch with Mr Sheerline.

Thanks for the kind comments on the video Rich.

Wish I could take credit for the videos Rich but Jan is in charge of the cameras all that I do is edit them for her. I have to be careful if I had my way all the videos would be on You tube not just the subs but the boats as well some at new brighton lately have been outstanding. I tend to think people arn`t interested in all the video`s that are available for viewing plus I wouldn`t want to bore everyone all the the time with long video`s.

Then you best pass my congratulations onto your good lady Mark, she knows how to take a mean video!

As I've said before, I always enjoy them...maybe because I like the Akula and the way it always sails as steady as a rock.

You keep posting them mate...I'll keep watching them!

Hi Mark, after reading this post and you saying you nearly sank your sub......well it got me thinking with all the sinkings we have at the lake this year you could start a new thread............something like .......subs spotted lurking in Scapa Flow.... {-)

Regards Dave.

OK guys I have now got hold of some nice video editing software that allows the editing of full 1080p HD video ssooooo here is a 7 minute video in HD from a HD camera with standard video from my 808 key-fob camera as a picture in picture (PIP) taken Sunday 08/10/12  the pictures are not in sync I hope to sync the videos the next time out, comments, ideas, suggestions greatly appreciated guys.

If you want to sync two videos together, an easy way is to create a sync marker on both videos. In this case I would just make a clapper-board like gesture with my hands, making sure this is in the field of view of both cameras.

You will then have to film continuosly to avoid the two cameras ending up out of sync. Once you have that in the can, you can align the two in the editing software. You will have to ensure any cuts are made on both footage.
