Another victim of T'internet. PRESTEL was short lived. Remember doing a prototype for Co. I worked for.

the NZ equivalent is called teletext and i can see it will go the same way as ceefax. very slow updating news now. sometimes 2 or 3 days old before its onscreen. a real shame. it used to be a brilliant service and a lot quicker than cranking up the computer or waiting for radio/tv news.

Is Oracle still going? ( .... as our are has gone digital, we can't get either )
