very sad news both for the ship and the crew, as it now seeems thsat the ship has sunk, and two crew members are missing, in 18 foot waves..........not looking good.
it's a time for prayes and good wishes, me thinks.

I concur with Neil, but what was she doing out there, knowing such a bad storm was on it's way? :police: :police:

Latest |I have seen is that one female has been picked up in a very poor condition and is enroute to hospital ashore,
and they are still looking for the Skipper.
As for them being at sea well it used to be common for ships to leave harbour when there was a typhoon heading
for Hong Kong - the RN used to sail out and the US Navy used to sail in and go to the Typhoon anchorage and it
was usually the case that we suffered less damage (but probably more seasickness) than they did.
But I would have thought a ship as small as the Bounty would have been better off in Harbour.
