Anybody doing a Moebius Skipjack
« on: November 11, 2012, 12:28:54 am »

Anybody here doing a non-David Merrimanian sub driver approach to converting the Moebius 1/72 Skipjack to RC?

Yes sir, just about to start one. Mine is being fitted out with a custom designed and built twin piston tank wtc, by Ron Perrott. I could'nt afford the Merriman/Caswell unit, seems very pricey to me...

I do have a 3D video of the module as Ron designed it...when I fire my laptop up tomorrow, I'll post it here, but I will have to get Ron's permission first.

Yes, but the caption said, mocked up using the Scale shipyard hull, as I believe
he hadn't gotten the test shot for the Moebius hull at that time.
