Considering the tv license costs some £30+ million to actually organise and to actually take everyones £140+, it is spent on idiots like Johnathon Ross, who when on the BBC was paid in the region of £17 million.. He should be able to atleast speak properly for that sort of money.
These presenters get paid far too much for the relatively little work that they do. As for commercial tv, pay them what they like, its not me whos paying and I don't even watch the adverts either.
The BBC make some excellent programs such as top gear, and whilst a very slick operation, its very expensive also. This is a drop in the ocean to the other spending of the organisation but it all adds up.
I think if the presenters were paid less and a few cuts here and there, the license fee would be a third of what it is of not half.
If they moan about the pay, then dont present. Its very simple.
