The fist tractor would be a load of laughs on the road in a bit of traffic. Blowing chavs away at the lights. Oh yes

Years ago, Phil, my wife and I were moving Phil's traction engine back to its home near Hungerford.  We were waiting at red lights, a MkII Jag alongside of us, and me as engineer/driver.  I had manually turned the engine over to a good starting position before the lights changed.

When I opened the throttle a bit quicker than intended, we did a wheelie.  The look on that Jag-driver's face will stay with me for ever.

well, well........they still make them then........that's what he started out making  and when some  years later he went to Ferarri's factory to buy a red one.........Ferarri refused to sell him one saying he wasn't having a farmer drive around in one of his beloved cars...........so the little man as he was known, told Ferarri that he would go and build his own sport car to rival Ferarri's....................and the rest is history, so they say!
