But I don't want a roundnose... something closer to the boats on MPBA website. Are these also 'riggers'? I thought riggers are those row-type of boats in Asia?

There are a couple of builds of outrigger hydroplanes on www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlfMbs-sSWk   or look for Stavba RC lode Predator outrigger if the link doesnt work.

Wow! Thanks a lot! I watched the clip and also watched some Predator Riggers in action. Is this type of rigger only capable of handling the power of brushed motors?

Power is power no matter how it is made, there are nitro engined and petrol engined outriggers, even steam powered ones.  I`m sure there are brushless outriggers out there too.

Would the Predator be suitable for the Leopard 2845/3D?

Here are this years Fast Electric results - http://www.mpba-fes.org.uk/saws/saws2012.htm
I can probably find some I/C speeds from the years I was a member of Burton MBC.

Barrie

I've checked my back issues of the BDMBC newsletters and can' find anything. However, I'm sure there are members of BMPRS on here who will be able to fill you in ;)
Sorry to disappoint Barrie but whilst BMPRS only race IC offshore style boats at Branston (twice per year) we have not, as yet, entered the Branston Speed Trials, still yer never know ;) . Anyway thanks for the free advertising  :-))
PS
It's our AGM on Sunday next, please go to www.bmprs.co.uk for full details.

Cheers
