Thank you Ray  :-)  The progress is really slow because of other obligations but at least is moving on!

Yannis I have just come across your latest build - a bit of a change from the last
one.  As usual you are doing a great job, and its nice to see a ship that I travelled
on quite regularly between Corfu and Igoumenitsa a few years back

Very impressed with the hull moulding and the funnel build i will use this method on my tug. How do you seal the balsa in case it gets wet

Thank you very much, it is much appreciated ! I don't seal the balsa, I only use it as a plug to form the styrene if that's what you mean!

Hi everyone
Now having plenty of spare time I've decided to start also on the second one and I'm going to work on both of them simultaneously! This is KERKYRA which is pictured on the begining of the thread and here are some photos of the progress so far ! The only thing is that I started the other way around on this one starting from the bridge before moulding the hull. I'll keep you posted!

Some photos and a video of some testing I did today in the tank and in the sea just down the road from where I live. Using a two chanel radio and only one speed controler just to see how she behaves!

Nice! She's big! Perfect place for a test sail as well. Looking forward to the rest of the build.

Great model  :-))   She looks very manoeuvrable and turns well - very stable.

Looking forward to further instalments of this build. Well done  O0 .

She rides well bassplayer  O0, just a question.........

1. have you any removable ballast in these sea trials?
2. the motors from an earlier image appear an inexpensive type with resultant whine  {:-{
3. have you considered a medium speed diesel engine sound card/amplifier/speaker?

Keep us posted with more images :-))....... Derek
