Hi guys.     as its a Bundesmarine ship if you Google schütze Minensuchboot or the link may be live to click on.

 
   Using the German name for a German ship gives you more material and there are vids on you tube to look at.

Great work Stan, I see what you mean about numbering the stern, nightmare job.
that detail work on the winches and paravanes ( do the Germans call them paravanes ? )

Thanks TT1.  Just found these pictures on my camera. This group of pictures show the work involved to mask off the wood deck prior to painting the hull. This operation had to be done 3 times. First time etch all brass parts then primer then top coat.Also pictures show  masking removed on rear section of deck no problems with paint on the wood deck. I hope to do some more on this project but at the moment time is taken up with X mas shoping and other things. Thank you all for comments on this project.

HI First of all update on the Schutze build. Badges for the bow have been cut out of plastic card and painted.Decals have been made. Dark green line painted on to the hull above anti fouling red pictures to follow if time allows before Christmas.

Finally got the pennant number on the stern. I went to my local vehicle sign company they made them and cut them out for me. All I had to do was stick them on. Sounds easy I do not think so.
