HI TT1 thanks for putting the last set of pictures on Mayhem. Should have a new P/C next week all been well. This one is very sick just about ready for the scrap heap . More info on the pictures. These were taken to show what plastic card can be used for in model building from a basic item  to a detailed  winch etc. Hope you enjoy.

Many thanks Si. I should have new p/c on Sunday with all mod cons fitted. Over the years my models have got bigger. This gave me a real problem with painting and applying the varnish top coat. The solution was very simple. I suspend the model from the beams in the garage using a suitable material to carry the weight of the model being worked on.

Nothings been reported Stan.

It does happen to me sometimes, whenever I decide to put up a picture. More annoying after I've typed a message first.  My trick is to post a couple of Full stops and the picture.

If this works, then I have 20 minutes to 'Modify' the post, which give me the opportunity to add the message.

Hope this helps

Ken

Hi guys still  sore but I have managed to do some building today. I have taken some pictures of the bank of resistors that control the bulkhead lights navigation lights and masthead lights. Power supply is from a 7.2 volt pack  feeding via  an Action quad switch .I have used soft yellow LED for all white light these give a very nice yellow light ideal for the time period of my model. I have tried to post all these picture in one post but for some reason it will not hope you enjoy

Of Detailing ...

It has been said that when Stan has a boiled egg at breakfast, his little bread soldiers are in full dress uniform and all to scale.  :P

HI HMS HOOD. The model is a kit but around 80% has been scrapped and rebuilt using plastic card sheet brass section profiles. Deck was planked using 3mm wide by 0.5 thick timber strips. I have no plans at all only pictures to work from. Check out all pages for more information hope this helps.

I can just imagine how difficult that was,to get them firmly into all those groves, and still keeping them level! Another good job well done,Looking great Stan.
