HJI ballastanksian. Simple answer yes.  One for each motor if you check out Action electronics web site you will see the make a single version or a double version. More pictures to follow of the build.

Thanks for that Stan. A fellow Yeovil member puts fuses on his batteries and more here and there in his loom. Definitly a wise idea to save the magic grey smoke occuring!

HI everyone again not much done on this build due to other things. At the moment I am waiting for some small radar drive units to fit into the mast. Pictures to follow when I have this complete and working.

HI Guys after much head scratching I have managed to get the radar working. The first few pictures show the small gear box enclosed in in thin plastic card with the motor showing. Radar scanner just clicks in to the unit  more pictures to follow showing unit fixed on the mast.

Just a few pictures  showing motor for radar unit fitted on the mast. Unit runs at 1.5 volts giving a nice rotation speed. have a video of this but not sure how to get on this post.

HI Guys I have been asked by tug Kenny to take some pictures of the radar drive unit fitted on the mast of Schultz. The unit is very compact see pictures above showing unit fitted to mast. I have also included a sketch showing more details of the unit. Under the final drive you will see a small screw this must not be glued over if you do then the unit will not work. P/m if you need further information.

Thanks Stan,

That explains it very well.  Much appreciated for the efforts you have put in.  I think most of us have required a radar unit at one time or other.  No questions this time.   ok2      all explained nicely.

Cheers
