as mentioned earlier a website for the marine section of the show is now up and running. still a bit of a work in progress but will be of use and you can download a booking form if you wish.

have a good number of clubs already booking to exhibit but always happy to take more if your club would wish to attend. Our main aim is simply to promote the hobby and your clubs. Our clubs average age just keeps getting older and if we don't attract new blood things may get a bit bleak.

any traders that want to come along more than welcome. some booked already and the prices are not that bad honest especially as we are expecting 12,000 people through the gate over the weekend and particularly if your products could appeal to other types of modeling.

thanks phil

good morning all.

Just a brief update. For those of you who have already sent in your forms to exhibit, thank you. The passes are being printed as i type. I am away from tomorrow the 14th until the 26th of august so will be sending out the passes immediately on my return. For those of you who have not yet sent in the forms there are still a few slots available and you can send them in up to the beginning of september. Although i am away i will still be contactable by email and mobile so feel free to contact me.

Looking forward to a great show see you all there.

Quick update. Back from headcorn this afternoon and the show ground is looking good. Much more as one show than the hopfarm was.
The boating area is right by the entrance and no more than 200 yards from the flightline so we can all watch the aircraft as well.
Just a quick note to all the clubs attending the area is open to the public from 9.30 so you need to be in and out again by then.

looking forward to a good show beers are in see you all there

All the planes flew today as far as I know.
Lots of Model Boats Clubs, nice big pool for us to play in, but the weather was very cold and dull with just a hint of rain.
A BIG WELL DONE to Cygnets for organising the Model Boat section.  :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))
