Were to start???
« on: December 07, 2012, 03:08:23 pm »

Hi Guys

I dont want to run into loads of details but Im having to give up one hobby as the old legs dont work too well and Im only 44 years young

Right then I want to have a go at building a model boat and over the last few months I have got a couple of the RC Boat mags and think that messing around on the water can be a lot of fun and I dont have to be on my feet.

The problem I have is what do I build???  I need something easy as never done anything like this before.

There are a lot of very good "ARTR" (Almost ready to run) boats around to get you on the water as soon as possible.  Then you could sit back and consider your other options.

Build something you like the look off.... what sort of boats take your interest?

One of the free plans from the mags is a good place to start as they usually have an article on the build method and are not normally over complicated. A run through back numbers might be in order.
All the best in your endeavours and welcome to Mayhem.
