I got a next years calendar off my milkman.  I suppose that indicates he isn't a Mayan. {:-{

As the National Geographic Channel promo for a program discussing the Mayan prediction said, why take any notice of them when they couldn't predict their own demise? {:-{

Peter.
Seems once great nations/empires do nothing until it is to late, Egyptians, Romans, Myans, Astecs,the British Empire all came tumbling down.. 8)
They may have seen their demise coming but could do nothing about it..

The British Empire may no longer exist as such, but you surely can't compare its demise with that of the Mayans, Aztecs etc, at least London's still standing (or it was the last time I was there) :-) .
