Made 1st hatch for this build, only thin layup to break in the mould but also 1st time test fit and check clearances round the engine ,fits nice and clearance is not an an issue so pretty happy ;)

Also now moulded the bottom of this build, fingers crossed releases ok in a week or so ,then wont be long before laying up and pulling the 1st hull ;)

Just placed engine and exhaust in hull while still in moulds so while letting it cure I can make a start on the stringers and transom plate and check clearances ;)

Modified the exhaust to get a better tune length

F1...the outer edge/length/diameter of the exhaust tune pipe would appear to be in close proximity to the hull side wall

We see a small amount of 'fire sleeve' on the exhaust manifold [is it only protecting the water cooling tubing?]....but will the hull get any additional heat protection?..............Derek
