Looking for a Favour / Help
« on: January 03, 2013, 09:32:43 pm »

 Hello All
I have heard here in Canada that the U.K Postal Service is coming out with stamps to honor The Long Running BBC T.V service Dr. WHO.
I am a BIG Dr. WHO fan, would anyone be willing to get for me a page of unused multiple mixed versions of the Who Stamps when they are available? This is NOT for free, I plan to pay you for the stamps plus to have them sent to me here in Canada.
Please Let me know if anyone is willing to do this for me.
 Thanks for your Consideration.
 George

 Hi Neil
Thank you for your offer of help. I would like any sheets with a different Dr. WHO picture on it. I guess you would look for as many Dr. Who picture stamp offerings as you can. And Yes I hope to have them unmarked sent to me inside an envelope, as flat and protected from postal worker rough handling, if you know what I mean?
Thanks again for your offer to help.

They aren't out until the end of March, but if you are outside the UK, you can register here for news and updates: http://www.royalmail.com/doctorwho/register-overseas

A few years ago I bought a special edition set of stamps featuring British subs, they came in a little wallet on a special card. Will they not do the same for these dr who stamps?

Just follow the links in the previous posts to the Royal Mail website.  They tell you what you get, when it will be issued, how much and how to order.  Royal Mail have for many years realized that there is a commercial market for stamp collections, and are not averse to taking advantage of it.
