Good after noon all respected Modelers..
here, is one of my humble effort to realize the ever potent and classic war machine of WW2.. the British Vosper Perkasa.. as it is hard to explain the history here about this craft, anyone can Google it once.. this craft was driven by three gas turbo shaft engines, in mission, and diesel engines were used to maneur.. so we can simply imagine the potential of this machine.. so, she must be fast.. and became one of the greatest machine in my collection..
this time also, there is no plans to download, but entire scaling is done by orthographic projection, (3 View), and scaled to 30 inches, as my all PT boats are designed in this scale.. a great combination RCying.. this one is 100 % scratch built, except the motor and simple servos..

here i starts from big "0" from my work table.. here i prooves once again, we do not need any extra ordinary tools to make an outstanding,practical craft.. here my tools are a heavy duty art knife, a point iron, nose plier, and some hand tools..
here we are.. after proper sketching, template is made on a drawing paper.. then on foam board.. this one is fully made of foam board of 3 mm..
as we are scratch builders there is no restrictions.. adding the bulkheads, up to me needs, while keeping all aspects for internal machines..

it is too easy to make a hull from foam board.. after thermocoal, to me, foam board is the best material for RC boats.. as scratch building, we can add bulkheads anywhere we likes, while keeping an eye on internal mechanisms..

the hull is ready.. it took about an hour.. time to fix motor.. at first i have to add a water cooling jacket for motor.. this jacket is made from an aluminum C channel..

motor on mount.. can see the water cooling jacket..
motor jacket is ready.. this time, instead of fast epoxy glue, i used PS grey here to seal water jacket..
time to add drive shaft assy.. outer tube is a body of a sketch pen..

inner gaps are sealed with PS grey..

motor installation.. coupling, is a bicycle spoke.. cooling lines- aquarium silicon tubes..
rudder servo- a 9 gram servo..

in detail.. it works 100% perfectly without any fail.. the same line from the motor jacket can be used to cool the ESC also.. so, a 20 amps ESC can use here as it can handle more current with water cooling.. this motor is a powerful one.. it rated at 1300 RPM/Volts, and with a wattage of 275.. perfect for a high speed one...
all intake scoop and exhaust are made of copper tube as my lake is frequented by salt water as shutter opens..

rudder panel is foam board..
before starting a dry run is a must.. so i draw the basic structure on a thick card paper, as trial..
