1mm Plugs

Anyone able to tell me wher I may purchase 1mm plug and sockets from I have tried Maplins but to no avail

http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/home/homepage.jsp has 1mm stackable plugs are these any use? 1mm plugs/sockets seem to be like hens teeth.

It is still permissible to make your own - 1mm brass wire for the male, 1mm I/D brass or copper tube for the female, solder the wire on and insulate as required with shrinkdown.  to provide a tight fit, the tube can either be GENTLY squeezed, or split and squeezed, or the male part given a slight bow.
