I have some info from Phyllis regarding Mick who will be having an operation later tonight our time - 8 hours ahead of Canada.

"As for the operation, we're trying to remain as positive as we can while still trying to prepare the best we can for any outcome.  At this point, it's in the surgeon's hands and what may be, may be."

I am sure everyone here will be rooting for our mate Mick.

Hi guys, here is the latest update edit on Mick  :}  :-))

"It's 12:04 am Tuesday 22 January.  It has been a very long day.  Mick had His surgery at 1pm and it was expected to take 2 to 2 1/2 hours but took 3 1/2 hours.  The surgeons were pleased with how it went.  Then difficulty arose when Unfortunately some trauma was caused to Mick's throat waking him.  I saw him and he recognized me and was responding well to everything.  He will be in ICU thru to Wednesday I hope, then on the recovery floor for a couple of days. The big thing now is that he doesn't catch pneumonia. "
