Hi Folks

Phyllis sends an update -

"Mick continues to improve in the ICU, his vitals are good, his lungs are good, his sign language is improving, or I'm just getting better at understanding it, not sure which!  One day at a time!  Thanks all for your support!"

if its anything like my dad when he was in hospital just before christmas, he has all his royal naval association mates round, he had the whole ward in stitches - patients and staff as well as visitors, when they were discussing the daily rum tot and someone mentioned diluting it with water, in a loud voice he exclaimed - 'water, cant have water fish have sex in water' at which point badly surpressed giggles could be heard throughout.
All the best to Mick for a swift recovery with no complications.

Hi Folks
Here is the latest news from Canada

"Hello Everybody,
Great news about Mick today! The doctors decided his throat had healed enough and extubated him this afternoon!  His voice was raspy and so good to hear.  He did well on the nebulizer and was sleeping comfortably when I left this evening.  He will be moved up to a ward room tomorrow for a night or two and then HOME!!
It's been a long haul and thank you all for supporting us through it.
Phyllis"

While he is recovering, has anyone got a pair of Graupner 900s that they could sell to Mick please? He has been hunting for them for quite a while to put in his 1/12th Scale Tamar Lifeboat? I am sure this would cheer him up no end!
thanks,
Mick F

Hi

If Mick is in Canada, this company may be more "local" to him and are advertising the proper Graupners as "in stock"

Sorry Spearfish - says currently unavailable in the description. The search continues ...
I emailed Graupner de. last night and asked what / when a replacement was due?

Stavros was indicating that he has a stash - or was it an equivalent motor. %)

There have been threads on here advising of motors on ebay of very similar specification to that of the Graupner 900, not sure where now though, but the purchasers made very favourable and positive comments - will have another look see.                                   Regards, Tony.
