Flexi drive shaft
« on: January 27, 2013, 12:56:13 pm »

Hi,

Does anyone know how the square drive on the end of a flexi drive shaft is done? I guess its compressed, but is there a tool available for doing this?

Been answered on other forum. Next question re supplies of virgin stock, have a look at the specialist older car spares dealers, you used to be able to buy rolls of the wire to make up your own speedo and rev counter cables. When you manage to obtain some,  Don't forget, note the rotation of the drive, or worst case you could end up with the outer layer unwinding.
