Hi woody again!  could anyone please tell me how close the propeller should be to the hull and rudder

Hi Woody,

it's not that important to be close to the Hull, but it does matter with the Rudder.

Get the prop as close to the rudder  (in line) as you can without it touching.

Its also probably better away from the hull - it will work best in clear water influanced as little as possible by hull form, though obviously there are limitations on that! I would also assume that clear water is less important in slow speed boats than in fast craft.

Am I right in thinking you are building the swordsman,if you are, have you seen the build thread that has been done you may find it very interesting,my son is also building one as a project. If not then please disregard this post.
