Andromeda INS.167
« on: January 30, 2013, 04:25:12 pm »

A Campbeltown 80' siene netter built between me and my grandad, sorry about some of the pictures, i used my phone to take them. the real boat was built in 1975 by Campbeltown Shipyard for Jim Campbell, Lossiemouth, she had a 565 hp Catapillar engine and was renamed Arcturus INS.167 in 1985 and then Alert INS.55 in 1999, she was later decommissioned in 2002, the first photo, isn't mine i was just using it to show what the real boat looks like

Nice to see Cam
One thing I have noticed is the forward thinking
in the electrical dept.
Most build blogs seem to leave the wiring out
and the lights appear by magic!
A good pointer for newbie.

Norlantean II K508 wicker , she's just been sold to Whitehills to replace 2 lost trawlers and she's now renamed Beryl BF440 ( Colin and his Brother lost the Onward BF and Beryl BF440 in the last 2 years when both sunk , Onward to burst pipe or sprung plank and the Beryl to fire )
