Just got aound to a dry assembly of my own wave master, and having already ditched the supplied motor after watching the video posted by TailUK. I thought I'd check out the drive train as it would be awkward to cut holes in frames after assembly.
In the post that accompanied pic 008 the prop tube was shortened from 150 mm (see text), the one supplied to me by VMB is about 240 mm and far too long (see pic) not a big deal but annoying none the less.

As Stavros says , Just start a new thread with your build as the same thread with 2 different builds could get confusing so better to have your own thread with the way you are building it..

Is yours the Wavemaster 25 or the 34?  I'm afraid I can't tell from the picture.  If it's the 34 it would explain the longer prop shaft. I'd offer one bit of advice when you fit it make sure it's dead center with the keel.  Due to my inexperience with kits like this mine is slightly off to one side and as a result the boat has a bit of a left hook.
