I was visiting my dad this morning and while we were discussing the travel agent models he mentioned he had some information for the sealink ships livery.
True to form within a few minutes he produced the following page:-
he has documentation tracking the sealink ships livery from the days when they were individual railway companies through to their Stena livery, some ships have as many as 10 livery changes, one example he gave was a rear funnel ship that had the word SEALINK centred on the funnel, but later centred on the hull.
the original sealink font was helvetica.
the document above shows the rules to apply the ship colours, we did look at the colours, but there were no british standard colours noted for the original colour swatches from the contemporary documentation he posessed.
If anyone has any queries for a particular ship livery at a specific date let me know and I can pass the request to him - while he has a computer he hasnt got internet access, so the response wont be instant, but as far as I know he is one of a few people who have documented the livery changes (he may well be the only one).
