I've acquired a liquid compass from Denmark. Scratched into the glass are the reg nos of 5 fishing vessels and dates. They are:- 3631PK 1946, 13921PK 1955, 10276PK 1941, 8837PK 1950 and 21708PK 1962. I've tried many different searches on tinterweb with no success. Assumed all boats were Danish but can't find a port in Denmark Begining with P and ending with K. I assume that was the convention for numbering. Can anyone help?
Jerry.

Found an M3631 , taken up from trade as an armed drifter for the Kreigsmarine in 1944 so might be the same boat

Good thinking, Batman! That would fit in with common practice of just adding/removing one letter to save time and paint. It could be that she survived and was taken back by the unknown owner at the end of the war in 1946. Thanks for that.
Jerry.
