Sam's pictures of Holyhead
« on: February 05, 2013, 10:54:47 pm »

As Dave (Norseman) recently asked about local pictures I thought it might be an idea to show you a few of the pictures I have taken of the harbour, may be of interest to some of you folks on here  %)

That is Porth y felin house, locally known as the MoD. It was the home of of the RAF's 1113 Marine Craft Unit up until the mid 1980's

Thanks Sam

After looking the house up I found http://www.raf.mod.uk/rafvalley/aboutus/stationhistory.cfm about RAF Valley. It mentions the Unit and 2743. Very interesting.
