They are not very good with emails but normally OK over the phone. I ordered a kit recently which didn't arrive after a couple of weeks and phoned to be told they were waiting for it to come in which it did a few days later. The delay wasn't their fault but they could have been a bit more informative and they did take the money up front. Having said that, Westbourne is a long established business with a good reputation.

Sorry Colin have to add, they had a good reputation but there are a few, myself being one of them, to whom they've afforded a disgraceful service with absolutely no response whatsover. I spent over 1200 with this company after a 370 mile round trip.

ive never used them..but i was close {-)
when i was looking to buy my first ever batch of stock a year or so ago, i was close to using them....i plumped for a supplier close to Devon whos prices were cheaper and seemed to have more stock...
7 orders later i have to say they have been awesome, they forgot to add a radar in one order... a quick email and a radar was duly dispatched and arrived very quickly.

I went with my gut feeling  ok2

To be sure you need to get old fashioned. A letter by recorded delivery stating that time is now of the essence and giving them a reasonable time to either fulfill the order or refund your money - say 10 days. If they don't sort it out then, you'll need to bring out the bigger guns.

The credit card company may help at that point but bear in mind your legal rights to make the CCC pay only apply for transactions from GBP100 to 10,000 so be nice or they may not help at all.
