North West Scale Model Boat Club -Horwich
« on: March 01, 2013, 02:06:11 pm »

There have been posts on this excellent Forum, from boaters in the North West trying to find our Club, which has a pond at Horwich, near Bolton, in Greater Manchester.  I'm Secretary, and apologise for our defunct Website, which even we can't get into! We would have to change our name to set up a new Website, but until then, Mayhemmers who live in this area, and want to make contact could phone me on 01*******, find our pond at BL6 7RR (walk down Squirell lane to the padlocked barrier and footpath it to the right down to the pond- only Wednesdays and Sundays), or read the item in "Model Boats" mag. page 57 Feb.2013 issue.  Maybe we should call ourselves the "Horwich Model Boat Club"?  You are welcome.

Used to be a member at one time, know the site, even supplied a couple of bricks to help shore up a failing bank, excellent group. :-)
