20mm Gun Ring?
« on: February 19, 2013, 03:12:35 am »

I'd like the 2cm Gun on the bow of my S-Boat to be able to move through 180 degrees. I know how to make the REAL one move ---but how do I work this feature into a model? Any ideas?

i used a servo under the gun with a brass rod then centred it and had the side to side movement, for elevation used a micro servo upside down on a washer that lifted fore and aft on the center line of the ship this allowed side to side port to stb movement and up and down elevation of the gun .pm me for the aft guns tassie48

I used a 1:500 Robbe miniature motor controled by the smallest Mtronics speed controller on my Armidale.
Very controlled turning through 360 degrees.  :embarrassed:
