ok people im looking in to making my built 1/72 u boat in to a working boat . but im abit confused on the hole submarine building side of it . i'e the running gear . like what sort of parts to use an what sort of running gear. im totally new to this . i was considering in buying the u-47 kit .
i dealy i want to do Das boot . i know another one lol but its one of my all time submarines. unless its the uss stingray
 
1 where do you then the tubes you need to habour all your radio gear
2 is there a build thread here how one is done

http://roguesubworks.com check out the download section, there is a paper on building your own WTC. That being said, I would personally recommend buying a pre-made unit. There are a lot of frustrations in building a sub, do not multiply that factor by trying to go a less expensive route. Get in touch with someone that lives near you with sub experience to help mentor you. At the very least, post your build to get help.

Hello, its a way off yet, but if you want to see some of the UK Experts and their models, please feel free to come along to the Norwich Submarine weekend at the end of July, you will be able to look very close at the way its done.

@ SHADOWFLEET your only in Telford why not come along to the Ellesmere port model boat show 2nd 3rd 0f March going to be a few subs on display there
