Penguins - Spy in the Huddle
« on: February 25, 2013, 10:01:06 pm »

Hi Folks,

Just finished watching BBC 1 - Penguins - Spy in the Huddle. Did anybody else see this at all?

I thought it was brilliant to see how the different types/breed of Penguin each made their journey's etc.

Oh I was there, I was the third rockhopper penguin on the right with the gammy leg! {-)
Whilst I was in the Falklands we had a lot of BBC film crews turn up, but they wouldn't say what they were up to, now I know!
Fantastic little birds with a brilliant personality if you ever get the chance to see penguins in the wild I would say go for it there is nothing more entertaining or life changing than seeing a colony of penguins with their chicks. :-))

P.S Ian, I got your pm, I have just managed to get back on the forum tonight after my phone signal died!
Thanks once again for the suggestion.

I have been watching this series with interest, especially the radio controlled Penguin-Cams.
Loved the twin screwed underwater Penguin-Cam used to film the chicks first time in the sea.

I too have seen Penguins - not quite up close, but close enough.

Yes the underwater Penguin Cam, infact all the Cam's were quite clever!
