Italeri Vosper Mtb
« on: February 27, 2013, 06:03:30 pm »

I have been given a plasic Italeri Vosper Mtb kit that i wish to convert to RC
Now should I fit one or two propshafts I know that not to scale but they wont be seen when the boats is on the water

The deck is a one peice moulding in hard plastic I will need to cut a hole in the deck around the wheel house to get at the battery

What would be the best way to cut this pastic with out causing any damage

If you can hang on Dave Abbott has completed a magazine article on build this with brushless motors. Saw its maiden voyage a couple if weeks ago in fact I was at the helm while  he took the pics! On his the deckhouse lifts off completely, to gain access to insides.

Not that I'm an authority on Vospers, but there is a Guy, "mailbox" something or the other, who has a valid comment to offer. I found it hilarious, on a lighter note. :}
