Hi guys, the model of the rusty, stranded Gato in the pacific diorama is finished-just a little bit of sand to do around the plaque and then around the model but in all intense and purpose this is 99% finito. The sub has had its final dry-brush details and is stuck in situ. Total build time around 30hrs. Enjoy. All comments/questions welcome.

My models are not nice, clean and ship-shape. They be mucky, grubby, rusty and smelly.

Just noticed that the props look really shiny, I dulled them down using brass colour and black...oh, well.

The final piccies-rust staining added around base of sub, some more debris around palm trees etc and another dulling coat of rust on the sub...that is it...properly done.
Do you think it looks rusty enough?
