That's a lovely looking boat, I do like it - well done Eddie.
Thanking you sir, glad you like it. I know many modellers of planes, boats, cars-static models or RC look down on tired, scruffy models. And I must admit that a model boat in full varnished wood and gleaming paint and brasswork is a wonderful thing for the eye to behold, but, there is a place for tired, scruffy, worn out 'real-life' looking boats. I think I mentioned, either in this thread or another, that my boat is based on one I saw in Bridlington, algae covered roof, blistered, rusty paintwork but her crew loved her and she chugged away happily-somehow I knew that although the crew didn't keep upto her as best they should-they did their best and I knew that she would look after them. So, the 'BIG D J96' may not be the bellé of the pond but she will certainly look smart in my eyes.
Thanks again.
Si:)
