Now you have to be an expert on the rules, what ever happened when first past the post without a rule advantage was the winner. It is obvious to me that the tyre rules favour certain teams. When I raced I won my fair share, but the rules also kept changing. It was like they looked at what you had done to gain an advantage & then made a rule to negate that advantage, after 19 years battling the rule book & losers protests I retired, in all that time I never lost a protest against me. I can say also I NEVER cheated once. I just ask what has happened to good old fashioned racing, where the fastest man or woman was the winner, completing the race in the shortest amount of time. Sorry, rant now over. All three drivers in Melbourne deserved their place on the podium, possibly in a different order though. I might be biased as I think Vettel is the best, he is on a level with Jim Clark & Arton Senna. Mick B.
