Nottingham 28th april
« on: April 28, 2013, 08:54:33 pm »

Just to say, what a cracking good good day was had by all. Many thanks to Danny and the rest of the committee who managed to squeeze in a mega busy schedule, with the two extra cat classes and what must have been one of the best turnouts i have seen. Also the two juniors did supremely well, they know who they are well done!

The d class has gone up several gears in terms of the cometition, some good video clips of the racing will be circulating on utube soon i believe.

Cheers

Thank you Garry and all the other racers who helped out or just got ready to race so quickly between heats, allowing the 16 heats to finish at a reasonable time.  Some really good, exciting racing today!
Well done on getting the Best Boat award for your cat  :-))
Cheers
Danny

Hi Guys
I have uploaded 3 short clips of some of the action for anyone interested. Hopefully clicking the link will take you straight to the footage. I may have a couple more to follow later in the week.

Oh and this photo is perhaps a good example of how tight the driving line was at times.......

Fantastic pics craig, yes it does show how tight the driving was. In addition, good to see no damaged boats during a day which saw lots of frenetic racing which was fast, furious and competitive. A testomy to very good overall standards of driving.
