Short visit to the refurbished Clydebank museum today and photographed HMS Vanguard.

Thank you so much for posting the photos Andy.
I used to spend a lot of time in front of the model of Vanguard in the Science Museum in London.
Same one I wonder now that the gallery has been "updated"?

Another thanks from down under. Those photo's were just what I needed to detail my Vanguard build. Photo's taken by a modeler of a Museum model show detail from a different perspective you cannot get from books, internet etc.

Just out of interest, what's the scale of that model?

It will probably be 1:48 scale
Like most of the builders models that were built on

That's BIG compared to my 1:128 model - will have to get the calculator out.
