A bit of Acetate from the photo copy shop might make good lens for your lamps.
Evergreen or Plastruct make clear styrene. It can be a bit crisp though, and fracture
along the edges as you cut. It's not a split either, more of a delamination fracture if you use a dull knife.
Raboesch makes a nice 0.010 clear PVC.
I prefer the PVC over the styrene, the acetate is okay.
I use the PVC for window glass, and it comes in tints if you prefer
a brown(smoked) glass or blue or green tint windows at the bridge.

Thanks for the Informations about the "glass" for windows.

I finished all the equipment on deck. Some smaller things like bait bins/sacks, cod, crabs and other stuff will be added later.

The Block, Sorting table, pot launcher and line coiler
really bring the deck alive.
Crab, cod and a few bits of rope for the crew to get involved
with will be the icing on the cake.
Can't wait for the launch.

Thanks a lot for all the compliments my friends. I hope I can model a few king crabs and some cod and bait boxes as well.

Built 2 handles for lifting the deck safely from the ship. Space is very thight and I have only a few mm to spare. They have a M4 tread for easy fixing on the deck.

Built some crab boxes as well ...

... and as you can see they came out rather nice ... the last part for the front crne was finished today as well

Hi Mark

Thats the 4 wheel truck we will use to transport the CM.
http://www.amazon.de/Hudora-10321-HUDORA-%C3%9Cberl%C3%A4nder-Handwagen/dp/B00DCT3DF0
I have to fit some sort of support for the CM on top but the truck is foldable and rides very well.

Thanks a lot Ned.

Redid the CM Logo on the bow. I wasn't too happy with the yellow color and my wife thought its time to change it.

I have been so impressed with your standard of model making all the way through, Danielle, but your expertise at weathering the model is the icing on the cake !
Are the crabs sitting on the deck down aft waiting for the cook ?
