Hi vosper, the skull cap bridge house looks great. I hope those torpedoes have dummy warheads.  :}

hi
thanks did think but have not but they sounds great when fired with the compressed air, trouble findind 15mm tube for scale torpedos and pipe for tubes were hard to find to get it to scale of 1/35.
only problem builing on a tight buget.

hi
well painted, only thing is slower than hoped for but scale speed, rechargable battery gives about 5 min run,
i shall try and film them runing.
lipo battery from a mcro hali, motor from 9g servo, trouble is have get all stuff of internet so hard to judge the size of thing needed, gears are for micro racing cars, shafts are blood test needles,

A truly inspired bit of engineering to get contra rotating props from one motor

A quick question.  How do you switch the motor on and off?

hi
switching i was trying reed switch but had trouble getting them, so tried a micro switch with pin so when in the tube pin is held in keeping motor off, then when torpedo leaves the tube its springs out out motor keeps running till pin is pushed back in.

hi
the system i came up with due to lack of space is and after loads of trials is with 2 corkmaster,s with a high power servo to operate, you can et 3 launches on 1 sparklet bulb per tube, problem had to fit near stern for balance.
see picturse,

I do like this "whats in the bits box/kitchen drawer?" kind of modelling, shows real initiative

I looked into using an soda stream system as a starting point for a submarine dive system.... but the wife said no cos it still works :(
